It allows event organizers to manage attendees, generate QR codes, and verify entry at events using a mobile or web-based interface. It is fast, secure, and works on any device with a camera and browser.
Who is Ket-Pass designed for?
Ket-Pass is designed for any individual or organization that runs events — from corporate conference organizers, concert promoters, exhibition managers, sports event coordinators, to wedding planners and workshop organizers. If you need to manage attendee entry, Ket-Pass is for you.
How many attendees can Ket-Pass handle?
Ket-Pass is built to scale and can handle events of any size, from small gatherings of 50 people to large-scale conferences with 50,000+ attendees. Performance depends on your server configuration. We recommend a VPS with at least 2GB RAM for events exceeding 5,000 attendees.
Can I manage multiple events simultaneously?
Yes! Ket-Pass supports multiple events running simultaneously. You can create and manage different events, each with their own attendee lists, ticket types, check-in data, and analytics, all from a single admin dashboard. Data between events is completely isolated.
What makes Ket-Pass different from other solutions?

How does the QR code verification work?
When an attendee registers, a unique QR code is generated for their ticket. At the event gate, staff open the Ket-Pass scanner in their browser and scan the QR code using the device camera. The system instantly checks the database, verifies if the ticket is valid, already used, or invalid, and provides clear visual and audio feedback. The attendee is marked as checked in immediately.
Can Ket-Pass work offline?
Ket-Pass is primarily a web-based system requiring an internet connection for real-time verification and live dashboard updates. However, the application can cache attendee data locally for limited offline functionality. We strongly recommend ensuring stable internet connectivity at your venue for the best and most accurate performance.
What are the server requirements?
Ket-Pass requires: PHP 7.4 or higher, MySQL 5.7 or higher, Apache or Nginx web server, minimum 1GB RAM (2GB+ recommended for large events), and an SSL certificate for secure scanning. It runs on any standard shared or VPS hosting. We can assist with server setup as part of our onboarding process.
What devices are compatible with Ket-Pass?
Ket-Pass works on any device with a web browser and camera — smartphones, tablets, laptops. It is fully responsive and works on Android (Chrome), iOS (Safari), Windows (Chrome, Edge, Firefox), and Mac. No app installation required — just open the browser and start scanning.
Why does the camera show "Permission Denied" error?
The "NotAllowedError: Permission denied" camera error occurs when the browser does not have camera permission. To fix this: 1) Make sure the site is accessed over HTTPS (not HTTP — camera access requires a secure connection). 2) When the browser asks for camera permission, click "Allow." 3) If you already denied permission, go to your browser settings, find the site, and reset camera permissions to "Allow." 4) On mobile, also check your device's app-level camera permissions for the browser app in phone Settings.
How do I set up Ket-Pass on my server?
Setting up Ket-Pass is straightforward: 1) Upload all project files to your web hosting via FTP or cPanel File Manager. 2) Import the provided SQL database file into your MySQL database using phpMyAdmin. 3) Update the database configuration in the config.php file with your database credentials. 4) Access the admin panel and login with the provided credentials. Can Ket-Pass integrate with third-party ticketing platforms?
Ket-Pass can integrate with platforms like Eventbrite, Explara, Townscript, Paytm Insider, and others via CSV export/import. You can export your registrations from those platforms and import them into Ket-Pass. API-based real-time integration is available for enterprise clients.
Features
Can multiple staff members scan simultaneously?
Yes! Ket-Pass supports multiple simultaneous users scanning at the same time. You can have 2, 5, 10, or more gate staff scanning at different entry points, all connected to the same event database in real-time. If one person checks in an attendee, the system immediately prevents the same QR from being scanned again at another gate.
What happens if a QR code is scanned twice?
Ket-Pass immediately alerts the gate staff with a clear warning message and distinct color/sound feedback if a QR code has already been used for entry. The system logs every duplicate scan attempt with the exact timestamp, device information, and scanning staff name. This prevents any fraudulent re-use of QR codes or screenshots.
How do I import existing attendee lists?
Ket-Pass supports CSV and Excel import for bulk attendee upload. Simply format your spreadsheet with the required columns (Name, Email, Phone, Ticket Type, etc.) and upload it through the admin dashboard import feature. The system will validate the data, generate QR codes for all attendees automatically, and optionally email them their tickets.
Does Ket-Pass send confirmation emails to attendees?
Yes, Ket-Pass can be configured to automatically send confirmation emails with QR codes to attendees upon registration. Email templates are fully customizable with your event branding, logo, colors, and custom messages. You can also send bulk emails or reminders to attendees before the event.
Can I customize the QR code and ticket design?
Yes, Ket-Pass allows customization of QR codes and ticket layouts. You can add your event logo, brand colors, sponsor logos, and custom information fields to tickets. The QR codes themselves contain encrypted data that cannot be visually customized, but the ticket card surrounding them can be fully branded.

Is training provided for my team?
Yes, we provide complete training for your team. This includes admin training for event creation and management, gate staff training for scanning, and technical training for server setup and maintenance. Training can be conducted online via video call or in-person in the Gurugram area. Most users are fully operational within 30 minutes of training.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
